New Post: Finding FREE and LEGAL Images

creative commons -Franz Patzig-

I've just had one of those wonderful ahhh-so-THAT's-how, can't-believe-I-didn't-know-this-earlier, can't-help-but-share-this moments. I have always wondered how to find images that are both free and legal to use on my blog. As it turns out, it's easy. I know it's not exactly the greatest discovery on the planet, but for my fellow ignoramists, here's how... Finding FREE and LEGAL Images (this link will take you to my latest post on my new blog).

New Blog...

You may have noticed that I haven't been around for a while... And part of the reason is that I'm carrying on my blog at a NEW ADDRESS.

I decided to change because I suddenly realised that I'm no longer Esther Griffiths, as my blog address states! I am now very happily married, and my last name has changed to Tattersall. My new blog, FinEsseArt has all the posts/comments etc from this one. (I have, however, yet to change my header image which still sports my maiden name.) A couple of new posts you may not have seen are...

Thus ends 2010

and...

Make sure you come on over and follow me at my new blog address! I sure miss having you wonderful followers hang around. It can get kinda lonely without your company to spur me on! ;-)

My new Felt shop

Hey everyone, check out my new Felt shop! I only have one item for sale there at the moment - one of my 'Daughter of the King' prints - but will be adding more each week or so.

Felt is an online outlet specifically for handmade things. It is the New Zeland equivalent to Etsy, where users can buy and sell handcrafted goods. The more artists that can get on board the better, I say... C'mon guys, register now – it's FREE! (Hooray!)

Have a look at my
Etsy shop too...

Artist CV 2008

Esther Griffiths
‘FinEsse’

Raumanga
Whangarei

I am an enthusiastic printmaker, painter, and illustrator. My Christian faith is central to my life, and is layered throughout my work. Much of my artwork focuses on childhood memory and biblical femininity. I spent my entire childhood enjoying the close-knit communities of rural Northland and Waikato towns, and shifted to Whangarei in 2007 to pursue my love of art. I am currently studying for my Bachelor of Applied Arts at Northland Polytechnic, and am exploring the world of children’s book illustration.
